If the cameras from here are real or not?
I really want to this Nikon D3100 because my graduation is coming up so I want something that will capture every moment in good quality.problem is that I don't know if this camera is a fake Nikon or a real Nikon. They price that body/lens kit at $87 cheaper than Adorama and Amazon. Strident warnings about this company all over the net. If I found a bargain like that at a reputable supplier I'd double check everything; a shifty outfit like this I wouldn't even talk to them. Don't let temptation undermine your judgement. Buy from somewhere bona fide.
The price looks right. Ebay has them going for around the three to four hundred dollar mark for "buy it now", so there's no reason that your link should be fake.
Do you have experience with cameras, specifically DSLRs? If not, then even a Nikon D4 won't help you get good graduation pictures. If you do have photographic experience, then the 3100 should be OK if most of what you're shooting is going to be in decent light. The kit lens that comes with that camera won't be great in low light and as the 3100 is, relatively speaking, a beginner DSLR, it's not going to have the best high ISO performance. I read up on it, and they reckon you can get away with up to ISO 3200. However, with a kit lens and in a dark area, that still might not cut it. I'd find out as much as possible about the graduation ceremony and events before you decide on buying a camera.
Also, if what I just said sounds like a foreign language to you, then you definitely won't be able to get the best pictures from it.
I don't want to put you off getting the camera if it's what you really want, just to let you know the strengths and limitations of the camera, and to see if you feel that you can use it well enough.
EDIT: After reading the second answer, I looked this company up. They do seem to be a little suspect. I'd be careful and research them before ordering. My comments about the actual camera stay the same.
Any seller should always be checked at this site: http://www.resellerratings.com
I checked and 'primotronix.com' has 1, 141 reviews and a rating of 8.31 of a possible 10. I also looked at B&H ( http://www.bhphotovideo.com/...ovideo.com ) and they have 73, 997 reviews and a rating of 9.77 of a possible 10.So 'primotronix.com' looks to be a newcomer to on-line sales with few reported problems.
At B&H the Nikon D3100 w/18-55mm zoom is $446.95 after a $100.00 'Instant Savings' from B&H that ends 9-28. They also show a D3100 w/18-55mm zoom and a 55-200mm zoom for $496.95 after a $220.00 'Instant Savings' that ends 9-28.
Along with seriously reading & studying the Owner's Manual that will come with the camera you'll find this video tutorial informative and helpful as well:
