Do you prefer the Nikon D3200, Canon Rebel T5, or neither?

My last camera broke (Luckily, I had bought an extended warranty!) So I'm shopping for a new camera. I was planning to get the Pentax K-50, but then I remembered black friday had some deals coming up. So I found the ads at walmart for Black Friday, and they are having a bundle of a Nikon D3200 with 18-55mm and 55-200mm Lens, plus a bag for it all for 500$. Then they have the Canon Rebel T5 with 18-55mm and 75-300mm lens, along with a bag and 8gb sd card for 450$. I've really only owed Nikon Cameras, but I'm opening up to different brands. I just want to know if these are worth it, and I'd be happy with them. I'm a young hobby photographer, so I just want something that will compliment that(mostly nature shots)!
Please don't be biased, I'd like know know your opinion on the cameras itself, not the brand. I was just kinda Sketchy about the Canon, it seems good, but its 50$ cheaper than the nikon and it comes with what seems more stuff. Is it because it's only 18 megapixels, and the nikon is 24 megapixels?

Is the T5 have the screen that can swivel at the back? Either camera is fine.
Yes that is the reason why the T5 is cheaper. But Megapixels aren't really everything. Look at example pictures online. When I was buying my D5200 The canon pictures looked a tad better. But the video camera options were better with the D5200 which is why I went with it. But I haven't used the video as much as I thought I would.

Both are excellent entry level cameras that can get excellent results, as can the Pentax.

Bundles usually are not worth it. Cheap stuff that you won't use or will have to replace soon. Concentrate on the camera. The Nikon has a slightly better sensor, the Pentax is weather sealed, the Canon is preferred by some.

Without being biased, since I own a Nikon D90, you should go out and buy the Nikon D3200.

These are very similar cameras. If you have owned and liked Nikon cameras in the past, you'll probably enjoy the D3200 (or the newer D3300) better. Besides, you may already have some lens that'll work on the new Nikon, where with the Canon, you'll have to start all over again.

I would go with the nikon d3300. I have been looking into black friday ads and at sams and costco they both have the same deal for the nikon d3300 bundle. 18-55 & 55-200 lens and case and Wi-Fi adadapter for just $100 more than the d3200. It is priced at $600 and a little better than the d3200.

The K-50 has weather-sealing, a pentaprism viewfinder, and the ability to meter with manual focus lenses.

You'll be VERY lucky to get either of the Canon/Nikon bundles before they sell out, and the Canon 75-300mm is a dog.

Personally, I'd get the better camera and worry about extra lenses later.

Both are great cameras but of those 2 bundles the Nikon looks the better bet.
The Canon 75-300 is not a good lens and the only way it sells is by lumping it into a "bargain" bundle. They sell on Ebay for around £50-60 and there are LOADS of 'em!

I'd still prefer Pentax K-50.
