No, it was discontinued long ago. But that doesn't mean you can't find a new one somewhere, it will just be very hard. Probably slightly easier to find a D300s, but again, that's old too.

don't bother buying one unless you get a huge discount on it. The image sensor is way out of date, even a cheap entry level new dSLR will beat it image sensor wise.

True it has a pro build, and lots of features, but that won't help you at high ISO settings.

About 6 years ago when that camera was first announced, it was around 1, 799 MSRP US dollars. Even half price today is too high in my opinion. Don't pay more than 600-700 for the body. You can get a beat up full frame D700 for 1, 000, sometimes 900 on craigslist.
