Digital Camera Suggestions?

Okay so I would like the Nikon d3100 but that is to bulky and I don't have a need for a dslr camera

I was wondering if you had any suggestions for digital cameras that take similar photos to the nikon one. Right now I use my iphone but I would like something that's a step above.

When I find my DSLR too bulky, I use my Nikon P7000 and get great results. I recently bought my wife the newer P7100 and she is thrilled.

The even newer P7700 is due to ship. As the jump in number might tell you, it has some serious differences to the P7100, but that is another story.
