Canon t4i, Nikon d3200, or Nikon d5100?

Best camera for point and shoot? I'm not a professional but I'll use this camera a lot.

If you want something like a point & shoot, you'll be better off with something like the Nikon P510, which is much cheaper and has a killer zoom. The others are a D-SLR and would be a waste to use as a point and shoot.

Why are you wasting your money on a DSLR if you are going to be using it as a point and shoot
Bad investment, bad decision

You wish to capture something far off, only to realize that you are stuck
- need another lens
Same for macros and the like

Get a good all round bridge camera
at least you will be saved the hassle of changing lenses

If you never like to learn more. You just want to point and shoot get a point and shoot camera and give the rest money to me. I'm saving money for a lens

If you think you will eventually learn then go for new D5200 from nikon. Beginning you can put in auto and shoot. But eventually you must learn the rest.
