Can you record with the Nikon Remote control?

For example can I press the button on the Nikon remote/control and then my dslr will start recording and if I press it again it will stop recording? By the way my Nikon is the Nikon D3200, great camera for a beginner.

I don't believe so. Remotes are normally only for still photos. However if it is possible Nikon will be able to tell you - check with them.

Like all DSLRs, the D3200's primary purpose is for photos, not video. Consequently, the advanced controls and features (including remote control) are for photo use.
