Can I take my Nikon out in the mist/drizzle/snow

I really want to film a video out in the snow. But only when its snowing not that hard. Is it ok when i take my Nikon D3100 out in the snow? How can i keep it dry and or safe? Please ANSWER As soon as possible

Do you need it to still work after takiing it out in the drizzle?
If no - just do it
If yes - video out of your front window

You could put it in a carrier bag with a hole cut for the lens
