Best low-light video DSLR?

I want to buy a HDSLR and was wondering what would be the best for low light shooting and also overrall (without considering the price)? Let's say… Your top 5.

The Nikon D7000 seems to be a good choice overall but it looks like the video is not that great… I don't know if that's true though…

The T2i seems to be the most affordable choice but lacks the 2 slots for example… And I don't know how good is the video.

The Mark II looks like it's really the best but it's "old" so I'm not sure about what replaced it? The D3s?

Thanks

Added (1). Actually i'm not the one saying that the video on the nikon d7000 didn't seem good, I think it does but I read many reviews (like in cnet) that say it's the the best choice for video and another said it wasn't at all good to put it on blu-ray… But they don't explain why so… That's what I'm trying to find out!

I presume that you are american or canadian, as in england cannon cameras are called different things, but basically you need to decide weather video or photo is more important, because the D7000 is very good as a camera but the video is only average, the nikon D700 is stunningly good as a low light Camera, but no video, and the canon EOS 5D mark ii is a very good camera with great color reproduction and a high MP count, and the video feature on it has been used to make hollywood movies and by TV shows, but i'm not too sure about its low light performance, but generally Full frame is the way to go for low light rather than the smaller APS-C sized sensor like the D7000 has(although it is surprisingly good at low light)

The best bit of advice that i can give is that if you have the budget for it then go to a camera store and try both the Nikon D3s and the Canon EOS 5D mark ii then see which one you like using the most, if you like them both then it depends on what you want to take the photos and video of (although is video is your thing then the canon has to win out of the 2)

This video was shot using a D7000.Is this what you are saying " it looks like the video is not that great"?

It looks good to me. My guess is you are viewing video shot by someone who knows nothing about what they are attempting to do. Such a person could produce crummy video using a $50, 000 pro video camera

If you want a camera that uses CF cards, then take a look at the Canon 7D. Fantastic camera with great low light capabilities (as long as you pair it with a lens that has an aperture of around f/2.8 or wider). The 7D also uses an APS-C (1.6x) sensor… So you get the added bonus of increased focal range.

The 5D mkII is also a brilliant camera, probably Canon's most popular camera over $1200

If you don't mind using high capacity SDHC cards (class 10 is optimal), the Canon 60D is currently the camera with the best overall video capability in the whole Canon line. It was also the first Canon camera to have an articulating fold out screen, and the only one that displays more than 1 million pixels… Which is a big bonus for hand-held video.

Highest quality with overall best low light performance… Money no object?

Here are my top DSLR cameras for low light shooting:

1) Nikon D3s
2) Canon 1D Mark IV
3) Nikon D700
4) Nikon D7000
5) Canon 7D

Canons still are the best when it comes to video. If your focus is on video, then get Canon. The 5D mark II is the best in this regard.

If you want good pictures, it's a toss-up between Canon and Nikon. Personally, I prefer Nikon for its superior ergonomics and better low light and autofocus performance.

Remember regardless of camera, lenses are still the most important aspect for both video and still images. Using a cheap lens on an expensive camera can guarantee you worse results than an expensive lens on a cheap camera.

Got Nikon D7000 camera recently. Love it so far. I took it out of the bag the firet time, took some images at a local horse show.posted on Facebook then was promptly asked by a local equestrian newspaper to use the images! I used the sports setting on the auto dial. And what a great result.

I'm still figuring out everything this camera does. But I'm very pleased with the quality and the users manual is easy to navigate.

Great camera for the money!
