Feeling regretted! What is your preference?

Well… I'm going for a trip and wanted to a camera before going. The time was short so i bought one today. I got confused between two of them. Of samsung and nikon. I bought the samsung one and now i'm regretting because i should have bought the nikon one as it is a real camera company. Really… This is my first purchase for which i saved money from my pocket money. Feeling regretted. Should i be? Is samsung also a nice one for camera?

If you think you bought the wrong one google on line and compare then if you still feel that way take it back and get the other one.
