Will an FX lens work on a Nikon D60?

Will a Nikon 50mm f/1.8G AF-S NIKKOR FX Lens work ok on a D60?

Of course
I use them all the time on my D300.
That information should be on the Nikon website

Yes, FX lenses will work on a D60. Only AF-S lenses will autofocus though, so the lens you mentioned will be 100% compatible but the 50mm AF-D version would not work with autofocus.

Yes. Plain and simple, no problems at all. The 50mm will behave as a short telephoto lens with the DX sensor, wheras on an FX sensor the 50mm will be a normal lens.
