Will a sigma lens work on nikon?
Hi i'm looking everywhere for some more details on sigma lenses, I have a D5000 and I found a sigma 28-70 mm F2.8-4 DG for a great deal but i can't find anywhere that states YES IT WILL WORK ON A NIKON D5000 any suggestions?
Sigma are a 3rd party lens manufacturer that make lenses to suit various camera bodies… You'll have to ensure that the lens is designed to fit a Nikon… I.e. With a Nikon mount
Sigma makes lenses that work on all major brands BUT you have to buy the lens with the proper lens mount.
If you have a nikon camera, then you have to buy whatever lens you want from Sigma made for Nikon.

It certainly will if the lens is a Nikon mount. Ask the seller what mount this Sigma lens is.
