Which other DSLR Camera is comparable to the Nikon D5100?

Been looking at the Nikon D5100 for a couple weeks now and wondering if any other brands or within the Nikon brand it's self is highly comparable?

The D3200 and D5200 are the newest versions of Nikon's entry level cameras. The D7100 is a more advanced version and it can use legacy lenses like the Nikkor manual focus AI and older AF lenses

Canon T4i, Pentax K-30 (actually more advanced, but a similar price), Sony A58 and, of course, the new D5200.

Find a dealer, handle them and work out for yourself which is best.

I'm guessing the D5100 is the D7000 some years back and the D3200 today.
