Which is better, Nikon Digital D60, or Nikon D5000?

I've been wanting to buy a new camera and I came across two different one that I would like to buy but, i don't know which. I just need some clarification on which one has better quality for video. Me and my friends are starting a youtube, and we need a good and cheap camera to start off with.

Isn't it obvious? The D60 Can't record videos
I would recommend a Sony handycam or Canon Vixia camcorder if you want to record videos, since newer models cost about the same as an used D5000 and can record 1080p 60fps (the D5000 only does 720p 24fps) (or even a D3200, which can do 1080p 30fps)

Camera-wise, the D5000 out specs and outperforms the D60 in every regard, and the D3200 does the same to the D5000 (D60<D5000<D3200)

EDIT: oh, and the D5000 doesn't have an external mic jack, so prepare to buy a good recorder if you want good audio (the D3200 and most con-prosumer camcorders have one)

Neither is new. There may be good buys on used samples. It depends on the seller and the sample.
If you are looking at samples being sold as unused, they may be overpriced and/or from unreliable vendors.

D5000. It's much newer than D60 but with secondhand cameras, your priority should be camera condition first before model. Test the D5000 first.

YouTube? The D60 does not have video. Worse, you are looking at the wrong type of cameras. The correct tool for capturing video is a digital camcorder like the Sony Handycam. You'll get longer record times and better autofocus. If you don't know why you need a dSLR for video, you will get the same results with a new and cheaper camcorder.
