Which camera would be better for recording music videos?

I'm trying to pick between the Nikon D5100 or the Canon Rebel T3i. Please I need to know which is better. I also want to make some youtube video blogs and stuff.

None of the production companies own these cameras. They rent them. They become an expense rather than a capital investment (and liability)

You can record video just as well on either. Sound, on the other hand, is best recorded on a stand-alone device and dubbed into the video. You will get much better audio quality that way. Controls for audio are extremely limited on either camera, even if you add an external microphone.
