What is the price for a nikon d50?

Looking to buy a used Nikon d50 in good condition what is a good price for one with the body, 55mm and 300 mm lens?

Do you mean the 55-300mm VR lens? You probably won't get both together.
Why the D50? That's pretty old technology and only 6 megapixels. While I would usually say that megapixels don't much matter, 6 is a bit on the low side. 10 or more would be better.
Why not look for a D60 or D40x? Should be a similar price to the D50 but higher resolution - unless you need AF-D autofocus compatibility with older lenses? Even if you do need that, I'd still prefer a D80 if you can afford the extra.

You can get a body only for around $50- $75. A used 55-300mm lens around $200.

I bought one years ago for $275 without a lens. It had 12, 000 shutter actuations and was in excellent condition. You should be able to get one today for $250 or less with a lens.
