I have a PNY pro elite 16 GB card and it is a class 10. I tried formatting the card and it worked for about one shot and then the 'recording interrupted thing came up again. I don't know what to do, I have had this camera for almost a month and it has been working really well. What should I do!

You did not tell us what you were capturing (digital stills or video+audio). I believe "recording interrupted" means you were capturing video.

"it worked for about one shot"… We do not know how long the "one shot" was. It is possible that after recording for a few minutes, the camera overheated.

Page 52 refers to this overheating issue and to wait for the camera to coll enough to resume shooting. This is not specific to your camera - but common to most dSLRs. There are designed to capture still images. Video is a secondary "convenience feature". This is one (of several) known issue related to capturing video with dSLR cameras. Resolution: capture short video sequences so the internal electronics do not overheat resulting in automatic shutdown.

Another possibility is the memory card is defective. Resolution: replace the card.
