NIKON D5100 VIDEO Help! My video keeps stalling?

I have a Nikon D5100 camera and I used it to record something.everytime I open the video file on my computer it stalls and has short pauses, but on my camera, it looks completely fine. Why does this happen and how can I fix it?

Because you DSLR camera shoots HD Video. You computer is not properly upgraded to play, work with or edit HD video. A computer that do all of that with HD video will have a Multiple core processor, a 500GB or Bigger Graphics Card and a sound Card, both of those cards need to be able to work with Direct X® 9 or better. No laptop can be upgraded that way, so only a Desktop computer can be upgraded for this.
