How to record video with a nikon d60?

I know you can't shoot video with this camera but I also know that for some canon DSLRs there's a software with which you actually can record video!
And I was wondering if any of you know any similar softwares to that one, but then for Nikon?

The D60 does not have a video function and there's no live view.

It does have a sort of freeze-action video mode where you can take multiple pictures of plasticine models and it will turn them into a movie for you, but that is as far as the D60 will go.

If you want video you will either have to upgrade to a D3100 or above - or better still buy a camcorder, which will be cheaper and do a better job.

The first dSLR that could shoot video was the Nikon D90.

And yes, some dSLR cameras can be tethered to your computer, but again, only select Nikon and Canon dSLR can be tethered with Adobe Lightroom.

You just don't have the right tool to do the job.

You buy a digital camcorder.
