How do you find out how many shutter clicks a nikon d90 had on it?

Snap a photo and it will put a number on the image. However, that won't tell you anything if the camera menu is set to start back at zero each time you delete the card rather than keep a running total. And if the menu has been reset, it will also be reset to zero. I had nearly 10, 000 clicks on my 5100, after I got it back from nikon for repairs, it was back to zero.

The EXIF meta data in each image has a shutter count number. You can use Opanda (free program) to view EXIF data in your image. There are online EXIF viewer out there if you don't want to install Opanda.
