Glass replacement for Nikon D60?

Not the lcd display screen but rather the glass piece that covers it. It's not the same as the glass screen protector is it? (isn't that the clear tape that goes over it?) i have a crack on the bottom half of the glass so i'd really like to replace it.links please to websites (amazon or ebay) that sell this glass piece?

You should probably call Nikon.

Some of the dSLR cameras have a plastic cover that snaps over the glass LCD screen protector. If the piece you actually broke is glass, you may find the it will cost more to replace it than you want to pay. If the crack is not causing a problem with the operation of your camera, you may want to wait until you can buy an upgrade in the next year or two.

The D60 was introduced in January of 2008, so is still a viable camera but getting close to the time you may want to think about upgrading to a new entry level camera like the Nikon D3200
