Did your Nikon D5100 come with a neck strap?

Going to be buying myself one for Christmas. I looked at the specifications & don't see it listed so was just wanting to confirm…

Yes it comes with neck strap

According to the Nikon website, an AN-DC3 Camera Strap (Black) is included in the camera box.

All new cameras come with a strap, it's just that there's a thriving market in third-party straps for those who want to look different.

If you are buying it new, it will come with one. However, I wouldn't rely on using the junky straps they give you. That has always been one of my pet peaves. You spend $500 to several thousand dollars, and they give you a $.50 neck strap. Buy one of the neoprene ones you can get for around $20. I personally use LowePro, but there are several brands that are nice.

Most all new in the box D-SLR's come with a basic neck strap.
