Camera for shooting movie?

Well me and some of my friends are going to be shooting a movie and want to make it look as professional as possible. Should we rent a pro camera, borrow someone's dslr (Nikon d5100) please help!

You obviously haven't done your homework. Come back when you have a plan.

If borrow means free, then go that route. Be careful you don't drop it though.
