Grey market always implies no warranty, so be warned.

So what's your problem with DWI? I've bought my entire kit off the grey market, DWI being one of the sellers, never had a problem. Just recently returned my 6 month old 24-105 that was having IS problems to my guy in Saigon and because he couldn't give me a turnaround time he offered me an excellent trade in deal on the 24-70f2.8L II. The next day he offered me another good trade in deal for my 70-200f4L IS on a 70-200f2.8L IS II, I jumped at the chance. If you spend as much time in the forums as I do you'll quickly realize that all the problems people have are with the so called legit dealers! Some of the grey market sellers throughout Asia, especially Hong Kong are huge businesses, they don't get that big by ripping off customers!

There's no free postage. It's always rolled into the purchase price.

I have never found the discount you get on Grey market lenses to be worth the risk. Depending on your country and lens brand, you could get a 4, 5, or 10yr warranty by buying the "official" imported items.

The grey market lenses, although they technically are the same lens, is only going to save you about $20, and only carry a store warranty; which may or may not be worthless.

So when buying grey market, consider them being sold "as is".
