Any tripod with a 1/4"-20 mounting post will hold ANY digital SLR camera.

Exactly how a fluid head is needed if you have a monopod is beyond me. A fluid head mounted on a tripod makes sense, but how are you going to stabilize a monopod when you are panning and tilting the fluid head?

Since this contraption comes with both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera screws, you have no worries.

As long as you buy the tripod from a camera store, it will fit any camera.
