Do all nikon lenses work with the new nikon 1 series?

The nikon 1 series includes the j1 j2 v1 and v2 and i'm not sure if the specific lenses for these cameras can be interchanged with lenses from other nikon cameras… Can someone explain this?

Only lenses specifically for the Nikon 1 will mount on these cameras directly - you need an adapter for SLR/DSLR lenses, and I'd imagine there would be functional restrictions.

Nikon is late to the game for this style camera, stick with Oly or Sony for a MILC choice.

No. If you wanted a mirrorless camera with a lot of lens choices either get a micro four-thirds one or get this.
