Cameras nikon vs canon?

What is the difference between the 2 brands of DSLR cameras

I perfer nikon, get a good body with a great lens (18-200 mm). This will give you great shots which is pretty easy to use.
I like canon for recording /videography

There isn't really a big difference between the 2, they do the same things if you know how to use them. The biggest thing I would say is that Canon is better for video than Nikon because of the design. But really it's potato potatoe

Not much. They are fairly equal on quality and design.

If you have any models in mind we could help you better. The brands though are quite similar and make pretty good DSLR cameras and some bad one too.
