Cameras and microphones?

I've got a Nikon 1 J1 camera would I be able to attach a microphone or anything? If so, which microphones are good quality? If not, will I have to buy a different camera? Which one? Maybe one with 1080p please

Does this camera have an external microphone jack? If not no you can't use an external microphone.

The Nikon 1 doesn't even have a hot shoe for a flash. It's an insult to the Nikon name.
I'd look at a real camera, like the Nikon D3200.
