Yikes… What did your last slave die of?

Do a bit of homework. Do some Google-ing.

Check out the other brands and see what compatible mounts they offer.

Don't expect others to do hours or work for something you could so easily do for yourself.

Big hint: all you need to look for is the mount compatitiblity… If you have a Canon camera, you need a Canon mount lens. If you have a Nikon, you need a Nikon mount lens… Etc

The Canons take any lens in Canon EF (NOT EF-S) fit.

The Konica/Minolta cameras take lenses in Minolta A-fit, which is also used by Sony DSLRs and SLTs.

The Nikon takes lenses in Nikon AF-fit. I'd avoid AF-S lenses - which won't autofocus - and I'm not sure if metering is allowed with AI/AIS manual-focus lenses.

The Pentax takes lenses in Pentax KAF, it won't work with the older Pentax K or Ka-mount.

Several third-party manufacturers cater for any of these (and have done for years), just check the lens mount before buying.

Other lens brands means third party lenses, such as Zeis, Tokina, Tamron and Sigma. There are also several other lesser brands such as Vivitar, Sangyang, Bower, Holga, Opteka and Rokinon. They will almost always have mounts for Canon and Nikon, and then they will add Sony, Pentax, and Olympus. Maybe others, if they think they can make a profit with them.

Only each brand can take its own lenses in actual camera brands.

Lenses by independents such as Tamron, Tokina, and Sigma will fit Canon, or Minolta, or Nikon, or Pentax if you buy them as those fits (with those 'mounts'). So be careful with independents.

Note that some camera bodies do not have focussing motors, so you need to take that into account also, and make sure the lens has a focussing motor.
